Over 20 years experience! Dogs, cats, small pets & reptiles and some farm animals. I became a full-time traveling house sitter in July 2020 and have thoroughly enjoyed this as I love to travel and staying in different homes to care for their pets. I work remotely as an insurance auditor so I am home often. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising 6 days a week as I am a retired triathlete.

Hi there! Happy Scamper was started in 2013 with one goal in mind-- providing the highest quality care for pups and their humans. We have thousands of playgroup walks under our belts learning the in's and out's of dog behavior, safe handling, positive reinforcement training, dog park etiquette, and adorable picture taking! Our pups enjoy off leash walks in a beautiful private fenced acreage lot with occasional visits to Funston! As of 2019 my wife Vanessa officially joined Happy Scamper making us a family run business with 16 years combined experience. I’ve been working with dogs as a hobby for over 20 years. I grew up training my first dog in both obedience and agility, and I currently have three rescue dogs of my own. I love dogs, cats, and critters of all kinds! Wondering about the name? Gambit was one of my former dogs who has since crossed the rainbow bridge. Whenever she was being naughty, I would jokingly say “dog Gambit!” to her.

Modern Hound is owned and operated by Shoshi Parks, Ph.D., CPDT-ka, CSAT. Shoshi is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She completed the San Francisco SPCA's Dog Training Internship Program and Public Teaching Internship and is certified by the Canine Behavior Academy of the Marin Humane Society. In addition to her private dog training, Shoshi taught for several years at the San Francisco SPCA and continues to teach at other locations around the city. Shoshi also works with high-risk dogs adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of looking after a wide range of pets. My love for animals runs deep, and I take great joy in making sure they're well taken care of. The best part is that my daughter shares this passion. Together, we have a blast hanging out with the dogs we host in our home. We can't wait to meet your furry friends!

Hi! I’ve been working in the petcare industry since 2017 and started Furry Best Friend SF in January of 2024. I reside in the Richmond district and service all over San Francisco for dog walks, pet drop ins, and pet sitting. I do offer pet sitting in north and east Bay for extended prices. Weekends Only. I can help with one-on-one Dog Walks in San Francisco and Pet Sitting in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am also happy to work as a dog handler/au pair at a special event.
